CECH’s academic programs have earned consistent national recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs, reflecting excellence across education, criminal justice, human services, and information technology. CECH was the most-cited college at the University of Cincinnati in the 2026 ranking release, with seven distinct program recognitions, a testament to the college’s commitment to accessibility, quality, and student success.

CECH programs are also notable for national programmatic achievements beyond rankings: 

• The School Psychology Program was the first in the U.S. accredited by the Association of Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).

• The Bachelor of Information Technology program was among the first IT undergraduate majors in the nation to earn ABET accreditation and the IT & MBA pathway was an early national leader in combined degree innovation.
