First-Year
A first-year student is someone who has never attended college or any post-secondary school, and at CECH, first-year students have access to services, scholarships, and resources to help them transition smoothly into college life.
Transfer & Transition
A transfer student is someone who has completed college coursework at another institution and is continuing their degree at CECH, while a transition student either starts at a UC regional campus and later moves to the Uptown campus to complete a bachelor’s degree or changes majors within the university.
Graduate
A graduate student is someone who is pursuing an advanced degree to build expertise in their field, and at CECH, graduate students can choose from nationally recognized programs while gaining hands-on research experience that helps solve real-world problems.
Military
