Research Resources and Support
At CECH, we continuously strive to innovate within the fields of education, criminal justice, human services, and information technology. Our research focuses on expanding the expertise and knowledge in and beyond these areas, while working to improve the lives of individuals and their communities.
Our work is driven by a passion for innovation and our devotion to supporting the ideas of our students, faculty, and staff, whether their research careers are well-established or just beginning. We believe research is a requirement to support a prosperous community.
Each year, CECH secures over $30 million in external funding. This is split between sponsored research, sales and service, foundation grants, and private donations.
CECH has several resources available to assist faculty, staff, and students with research projects.

Give to CECH
Donor support plays an important role in advancing research at CECH. Gifts from alumni, community partners and supporters help fund new research projects, provide opportunities for students and support the work of faculty. These contributions allow CECH researchers to study important issues in education, criminal justice, human services, information technology and develop solutions that help communities. By giving to CECH, donors also support the broader research mission of the University of Cincinnati and help turn research ideas into real-world impact.
