Using Your Education Benefits
Military and veteran students may qualify for federal education benefits, including GI Bill® programs and other military tuition assistance options. The University of Cincinnati has staff who can help you understand your benefits, submit required documents, and stay on track each semester.
We encourage you to connect early to make sure your benefits are processed on time.
Veterans Programs & Services
The University of Cincinnati has proudly served our nations heroes and dependents since our inception in 1819. If you are a current member of the United States Military, a veteran, or an eligible dependent of a veteran, you can expect to receive quality and expedient service from our dedicated Veterans Programs & Services staff.
Military & Veteran Scholarship
CECH is excited to announce a newly created scholarship for NEW military, veteran and National Guard - campus and online - students!
This scholarship will automatically be applied, each semester, as long as the student remains eligible, and funds are available.
$2,500/semester towards instructional or program fees for full-time students:
- registered for a minimum of 12 credit hours/semester for undergraduate students.
- registered for a minimum of 10 credit hours/semester for graduate students.
$1,500/semester towards instructional or program fees for part-time undergraduate and graduate students:
- registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours/semester for undergraduate students.
- register for a minimum of 5 credit hours/semester for graduate students.
- Funding for eligible undergraduate students will be available for up to 10 semesters for full-time students and 16 semesters for part-time students.
- Funding for eligible master's students will be available for up to 4 semesters for full-time students and 6 semesters for part-time students.
- Funding for doctoral students will be available for up to 8 semesters for full-time students.
- This scholarship is available to campus and online students.
- This scholarships is not available to dependents or spouses.
- This scholarship is only available to students in a CECH undergraduate or graduate degree program. Certificates are not eligible.
- This scholarship is available to NEW students only - effective Summer 2023 semester.
- This scholarship may be discontinued at any time.
- Depending on the type of benefits used, you may not be eligible for the scholarship.
