Workforce Development
The School of Information Technology is committed to building strong communities.
We offer many pathways for learning new job skills including industry-recognized certifications and bootcamps. Our online, asynchronous training programs are led by School of Information Technology faculty and include the benefit of access to UC's Career Education Services. The courses combine hands-on, experiential instruction with essential coursework to prepare today's workforce for careers in Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
Many of the School of Information Technology (SoIT) asynchronous, online bootcamps are identified as part of the NICE Framework for Cybersecurity. Our instructors are well-versed in education strategies as well as technology, and their dedication to delivering a quality learning experience has enabled SoIT and UC to be designated a National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) by the National Security Agency (NSA).

Tuition Funding Through Your Employer
Prospective Learners: Ohio-based employees, ask your employer to apply for the Ohio TechCred reimbursement program. Once approved, you may enroll and start earning your credential. Your employer will be reimbursed for your tuition.
UC is an approved provider of tech training eligible for the Ohio TechCred. Employers who are approved for this funding will be reimbursed for their employees training.
